As planning continues for the 2018 Eudunda Show, the committee is now asking local organisations to consider placing a tender for the show. First opportunity is given to local groups to use the show as a fund raiser for their own organisation and so keep the money within our local community.
Click the button to read more, and you can even submit your tender from the web form.
The committee has booked a cartoonist for this year’s show as something a little bit different from the norm. Paul Duff will be drawing cartoons and caricatures during the afternoon at the show for just a donation. See yourself in a different light when he puts his own slant on your portrait.
Extra Classes for “Remembrance”
During the winter months in front of the fire is the ideal time to get busy with some needlework, knitting, crochet, cross stitch or quilting. Special extra classes have been added for Remembrance Day including 6 poppies knitted or crocheted, or a collection of items to reflect on Remembrance Day. Take a challenge and knit a pair of socks, these were common gifts sent to the soldiers while serving during the war, or prepare any other type of needlework that depicts the Remembrance theme.
Photography classes have also been added to reflect the thought of Lest We Forget. Get the camera busy and take your photos, there are so many classes that you are sure to find something for each of your pictures. On the long winter nights, look through all of those photos that are already stored on your phone, ipad, computer or camera and pick that ones that you would like to print for the show. The committee would really love to see more junior entries. Taking photos is now so easy and cheap so let the kids run wild and use their imaginations.
